Every morning the family goes into the valley to look, listen, taste something specific. Every evening the child makes something at the property that carries that morning home. By Day 4 the child leaves with four things they made from four things they saw.

An orchard walk in the morning becomes a jar of jam in the evening. A castle in Naggar becomes an ice cream stick model that night. A monastery visit becomes a small thangka painting. Every day pairs one outdoor moment with one indoor making session, so the child builds the trip rather than being carried through it.

Mudlark, three to five

One small basket. One leaf to smell. One stone to keep. The activity is what the hand does, not what the head understands. A specialist joins the leader when Mudlarks are on the trip.

Wanderkin, six to eleven

A real basket to fill. Two knots and a proper anchor. Longer instruction, more precise making. The child leaves with a jar labelled in their own handwriting.

Every Wanderkin lead is a local expert trained on our curriculum and methodology before running a single family's trip. They are hospitality professionals and practicing artists with deep cultural roots in the valley. She runs the day. She writes each child a single-line note at the end of the trip. Her name is on your confirmation the week before you arrive.

You choose the window. We design the trip.

Send us your preferred dates and your children's ages. We come back inside forty-eight hours with either a confirmed slot for your family alone or a proposed slot shareable with a second family whose ages match. If your dates do not work, we send you the next three windows that do. The trip is designed around the actual children coming.
